4) Thunder Road
5) My Hometown
6) Born In The U.S.A
7) Jungleland
8) Wreck on the Highway
9) Reason To Believe
10) Terry's Song
I selected these 10 songs because they each bring back memories and messages that stuck with me. "Stolen Car" was the first piece of Bruce's we analyzed in class which got me to enjoy reading lyrics for a meaning rather than just a sound. "Soul Driver", "Born to Run" and "Thunder Road" all connected with me because they talked about driving away and finding something better. "Sould Driver" in particular left me with the feeling that having a love can be the best sort of motivation to get up in the morning, how the people around me give my life meaning. "My Hometown' and "Born In The U.S.A." both made me question how our society works and what needs to be fixed. "Jungleland" and "Wreck on the Highway" each gave me a chance to feel bad for someone who died in an accident of some sort and made me feel like something was wrong with how I looked at a stanger's death. The final two songs; "Reason To Believe" and "Terry's Song" made me look a the life I have and reminded me how amazing and lucky life I live. "Reason To Believe" reminded me that there will always be highs and lows and that I need to keep fighting. "Terry's Song" (aka "They Broke the Mold") specifically helped me to be more greatful for the relationships that I have. It left me with the thoughts of how I would be if my younger brother or even one my best friends was to die; how different my life would be without one of them.

For my playlist I chose 10 songs that ment the most towards how I view myself or what I believe in. "Life Is A Highway" is a song that connects to me because I love to drive, it makes me feel in control and free. However the reason this song has meaning to me is because life, like a road has bumbs and hard turns but the road keeps going no matter how painful. "Stand In The Rain" is a song that I listen to when I want to cry; when I want to just let all my emotions out or need to break down. To me the lyrics of this song tells the story of someone who is scared to cry because it feels like if "she" starts it wont stop. The reason this song is so powerful to me is because it says that even if the rain doesnt stop if you are strong enough to stand you won't drown in the rain. "It Dont' Hurt Like It Used To" is a song about how if you do stand through all the pain it will eventually subside, similar to "Reason to Believe" it gives me hope. It helps me to remember life goes on and things will get better over time. I chose the songs "I Hope You Dance" and "Scars To Your Beautiful" because they have special meaning towards how I view myself and how others should view themselves. "I Hope You Dance" is about how when you are given the choice to do something that makes you special you need to jump on the opportunity instead of sitting down and feeling comfortable. Do something that makes you, and do it for yourself. "Scars To Your Beautiful" is a current pop song that I dont listen to a lot but has special meaning because it talks about how no matter what you look like you are beautiful. I like this particularly because it talks about how people should love you for who you are, not what you look like. "American Country Love Song" and "Something Wild" are songs that I like to listen to because they fit my own peronsallity. The first is about how everywhere someone is looking to have a good time and find someone they can enjoy the night with. How theres always someone out there who matches you, while "Something Wild" is all about living in the moment and remembering the "good old days". How no matter how old you are your imagination is still a powerful thing that can make even the most boring situations interesting. "Frame of Mind" is a dubstep song with very few lyrics but the feel of the song is so ubeat and the few lyrics (basically the name of the song) has a huge meaning to me. "Until somehow you can find a slightly better frame of mind" is the line that makes me feel like even the harshes or painful of times can be better with just a better frame of mind. "Return Of The Hero" and "A Way Of Life" are two songs that have absolutely no lyrics but the sound of them are peaceful and motivating, I listen to these two songs regularly when I have work to do or need to focus. They empower me and make me feel like I can do anything, while also keeping me humble for the way of life I currently live,
