Danny Rose himself is someone who is very different. He is always trying to sweet-talk his way out of any situation. He uses the same old jokes every time he tries to get a point across. He tells stories and uses his hands as he talks like hes trying to swat at a million flies around him. Danny represents the loyal man who struggles because all his popular performers end up leaving him for a better lifestyle. Danny seems to be the kind of person who works super hard every day and gets left out of the picture and success of his performers when something better or more promising comes along. Personally I find the character of Danny Rose to be entertaining because of his way of handling any situation. He's not big and he knows that so he uses words and politeness to handle complicated situations. |
Broadway Danny Rose is a movie that has several different aspects to it that made the movie interesting to watch. The movie itself was entertaining due to the comical aspects to it. Danny was a "hustler" who found people that he considered talented. The movie is told in a series of flashbacks or stories told by a group of comedian's sitting in a diner. The movie is based on the " best Danny Rose story of them all". It tells about how Danny who was very uptight and respectful gets caught in a situation that takes him down a path hes never been down. He is helping out one of his most promising artists. While helping his friend make sure his lover goes to a big performance that will help him become well-known Danny faces the threat of being killed by a two mafia members. The movie touches on some major stereotypes. Some being the stupid but physical mafia members, the rich who tear up money just to one up each other, or the artist with a drinking problem who "only cheats with one person at a time".
